A new sign at Zick’s Hill Road, near a scenic view of the Martin’s Creek Viaduct about a half-mile from the Dennis Farm, cites Prince Perkins and his son-in-law Bristol Budd Sampson as early settlers in the region. Both Perkins and Sampson are resting in the Perkins-Dennis Cemetery on the Farm.
