For their 2022 Women’s History Month event, on March 19th, the Urban League Guild of Philadelphia honored The Dennis Farm Charitable Land Trust President & CEO, M. Denise Dennis. Angela Simmons-Smith, representing the Guild, visited The Dennis Farm last summer, presented the following slideshow about Denise, the Dennis Family and the Farm, to Urban League Guild members during the Women’s History Month event.

Sixth generation descendants of the Perkins-Dennis Family, Margaret Dennis Gore Crumley who passed away in 2019, and Edith Dennis Moore Stephens who passed away in 2017, were members of the Urban League Guild of Philadelphia.
