The 4th Annual Lonaé A. Moore Memorial Forum,

“It Begins with Each of Us: Fostering Racial Understanding”

 

Student Video Contest Guidelines

 

 

Senior High School and College/University Students are invited to participate in the video contest and compete for the following cash awards.  The videos should be submitted by email to DFCLTvideocontest@gmail.com by March 8, 2021.

 

      • 1st place – $250
      • 2nd place – $150
      • 3rd place – $100
      • Total – $500

 

The length of the video should be no more than two-minutes long.  In their videos, students should address what they’ve learned from the panelists and the Q&A discussion.  Specifically, the videos should answer the following questions:

 

1. What have you learned from the Forum that you were not aware of before today’s panel discussion?

 

2. How has the Forum helped you and what tools have you gained, that will help you overcome and deal with racism in your own life, and share with others?  

 

3. Do you have recommendations of your own for overcoming racism in the US?
