Philadelphia Archaeological Forum Features
Drexel University’s Dennis Farm Project

For their February 2014 Artifact of the Month, the Philadelphia Archaeological Forum featured the Perkins-Dennis Farm Barn: Media Arts and African American Historical Archaeology, a digital reconstruction of the 19th century barn created by Drexel University student Zachary Stockmal.

The digital model of the barn’s frame and the innovative technology Stockmal applied to create it reflect the DFCLT’s ongoing educational mission. Patrice L. Jeppson, PhD, based the following article on Stockmal’s presentation about the project at Philadelphia Archaeological Forum,
last October.
