On a sunny, blue-skied October day, in ceremonies to begin the on-site tour during 2019 Seventh Annual Dennis Farm Symposium, DFCLT unveiled a new welcome sign at the entrance to the farm. The entrance sign is one of eleven new interpretative signs installed from the farm’s lower tier to the farm’s upper tier, a half-mile uphill.

The signage includes photos and text that offer visitors historical background about significant features on the Dennis Farm: Barn Complex, Farmhouse, Stonewalls, Fields where crops once grew, original Prince Perkins Homestead, and the Perkins-Dennis Cemetery. The signs were produced in part through a matching grant from the Endless Mountains Heritage Region (EMHR) and the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR).
