Dennis Farm Wildflowers
As the summer winds down, we wanted to share this slide show of a few of the variety of wildflowers that flourish on The Dennis Farm during the spring and summer. One of our environmental projects with Keystone College will be to identify the Farm’s wildflowers.
New Martin’s Creek Viaduct Sign on Zick’s Hill Road
A new sign at Zick’s Hill Road, near a scenic view of the Martin’s Creek Viaduct about a half-mile from the Dennis Farm, cites Prince Perkins and his son-in-law Bristol Budd Sampson as early settlers in the region. Both Perkins and Sampson are resting in the Perkins-Dennis Cemetery on the Farm.
