Lucas Taylor, DFCLT docent and Keystone College-DFCLT liaison, shares history of The Dennis Farm with Susquehanna Interfaith Dream Camp students at the Semiquincentennial Bell Terrace, on the Farm, July 2025.
Tours of the Dennis Farm continued this Spring and Summer. In June and July, Keystone College-DFCLT liaison and docent, Lucas Taylor, welcomed young people from Susquehanna Interfaith’s Dream Camp and guided them on tours of the historic property. The young people were surprised and fascinated to learn this history about people from their region whose story was so unusual.
“As a docent at the Dennis Farm, it was truly inspiring to welcome the students from the Interfaith Dream Camp, “ Taylor reflected, “Their curiosity, respect and thoughtful engagement remind us of whey preserving this history matters—not just for today, but for generations to come.”
“We took our students from Dream Camp to visit the Dennis Farm,” said Chad Henry, Manager of Susquehanna Interfaith. “We had a wonderful experience learning how the Dennis Farm is a place of significant history. Lucas did a great job giving us the tour throughout the property and sharing with us valuable information. We are very thankful for the opportunity. The kids had a great time.”
